The face in the picture was drawn when I drew Faces [link]
I was just trying out different styles.
This one is more cross hatching based than the other which was more stippling.
It was just another practice image.
I added the abstract stuff recently after having some issues with another drawing.
I came back to this one as a break.
The face was just a random image from Google not related to the other faces.
The title comes from a fantastic idea from some deviantART blog I read a while back that suggested opening a book and taking the first random line you are drawn to. I shall be using this method again.

This is so beautiful! Your shading and the bold ink, both, are very very good! How long had this taken you? I love your methods!
